Product Delivery Specialist

Forte Payment Systems is looking for a full-time Product Delivery Specialist with a focus on web-based technologies to work in our office at 500 W. Bethany Drive, Suite 200, Allen, TX  75013.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. 

  • Owns and streamlines the product delivery process through effective planning of product releases
  • Define POS product features and manage requirements, user stories in JIRA for traceability and release planning
  • Deliver technical projects involving multiple stakeholders across different geographical locations with a significant amount of uncertainty using Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Plan, coordinate design & development, analyze test plans and test applications to ensure timely delivery of complex technical projects developed using technologies like Java, C#, .NET and MS SQL Server
  • Act as the central point of liaison, communications and coordination between technical teams and other stakeholders, business partners throughout the change process
  • Analyze SOAP/REST API defined by the partners and translate them into requirements
  • Monitor and track the progress of initiatives against the published plan and own change management, ensuring appropriate measures are in place to document, implement, test, and support the changes.
  • Collaborate with functional managers on effective resource allocation and implement appropriate SDLC checkpoints through reviews, audits and sign offs, as well as manages internal/external communications on milestones, action plans, risks, progress and changes
  • Partner with teams on creation of end user training/communication, and collaborates with stakeholders and product team partners on review and approval of external communication

  • Education/ Experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, or related technology field. Foreign equivalency acceptable
    • 5+ years of experience in the product development in software industry across various roles
    • Experience of application implementation and management in financial services domain context- ideally retail, payment solutions related to card and ACH processing
    • Product and project portfolio management with proven ability to manage multiple project teams
    • Experience in Agile/Scrum and waterfall methodologies using tools such as Atlassian, JIRA, SharePoint, Microsoft Project
    • Experience working with business partners and technology teams across different geographical locations, defining requirements and coordinating Development, Testing, UAT and production deployment of POS solutions
    • Demonstrate knowledge of the underlying technology stack and provide analytical, technical, business and management expertise to various groups
    • Technical background with strong experience across various phases of SDLC (business analysis, design and development, database design, QA, Testing, Product Management, Production Support).
    • Experience in development of web based, client server and database related applications using technologies such as Java, C#, .NET, MS SQL Server
    • Ability to analyze requirements, understand technical issues, impacts related to applications developed in Java, C# and .NET in an integrated environment and effectively translate, tailor and deliver messages on the issue/proposed solutions based on the audience
    • Strong analyzing skills in interpreting partner web services developed using SOAP and REST
    • Exceptional ability to partner with internal product team (business analysts and product owner) and cross functional managers and ensuring delivery meets product vision
    • Strong leadership skills with ability to positively influence and motivate teams through collaboration and drive towards pushing projects over finish line
