We are looking for a Risk Specialist I who will be responsible for assisting the Risk Analysts with their day-to-day responsibilities to ensure the minimal amount of time is required for each Risk review and credit card dispute.  This includes, but is not limited to, working with the merchant to request and obtain documents, such as proof of authorizations, pulling daily reports and placing in que.  The position may also entail the monitoring of merchant accounts for funding returns on both ACH and Credit Cards to mitigate losses, ensuring accurate follow-up on credit card documentation and submission.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Request proof of authorizations and contracts credit card chargebacks/retrievals
  • Communicate via phone and email with merchant
  • Ensure all required information is submitted for credit card disputes
  • Upload documentation received within time frame allotted
  • Pull daily reporting for review and processing
  • Assist Risk Analysts with obtaining any and all documents that may be needed on an account
  • Review accounts for charge-backs/Risk potential
  • Placement on funding hold/removal of funding hold
  • Monitoring accounts with returns for potential Risk and assign for Risk Reviews, as needed
  • Monitor and work assigned trouble tickets
  • Referral of potential loss merchants to Risk Analyst for risk review
  • Issue identification and troubleshooting
  • Other duties as assigned
