We are looking for an Accounting Clerk who will be responsible for processing daily requests received by the Accounting department, maintaining manual and electronic filing systems, and providing support to the Accounting Specialists in a wide range of accounting tasks.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. 

  • Contact merchants monthly via email and phone regarding past due payments
  • Resolve payment issues and resolve past due accounts
  • Issue and record refunds to merchants and verify properly supported
  • Prepare spreadsheets for accounting support
  • Process equipment order fulfillment requests and other inventory related processes
  • Record activity into Quickbooks
  • Record recoveries of merchant reserves
  • Make monthly bank transfers
  • Coordinate trouble tickets for the Accounting team and complete assigned tickets
  • Complete assigned Accounting dept. ticket requests
  • Maintain manual and electronic filing records
  • Provide support for Accounting Specialists
  • Assist in month end close processes
  • Assist in annual 1099 reporting and filing processes
  • Ongoing Business Process Improvements through documenting & automating
  • Interaction with customers (both internal and external)
  • Issue identification and troubleshooting
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • High School Diploma required
  • 1-3 years of experience in an accounting function is preferred
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Must have working knowledge of Quickbooks
  • Must have an understanding of accounting principles
  • Must have strong spreadsheet skills
  • Must have ability to learn proprietary systems quickly
  • Must have commitment to quality and customer service
  • Must have ability to work effectively under stressful working conditions
  • Must be able to work well independently or in a team environment
