We are looking for a Credit Analyst II who will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing and inspecting merchant applications.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: 

  • Review, Analyze and Inspect new merchant applications.
  • Keep all pending merchant applications updated on a weekly basis.
  • Process merchant change requests per the procedures for each change request.
  • Respond to all emails and voice mails in a timely fashion.
  • Ensure all documents/communications regarding merchant files are loaded into the File-bound system.
  • Responsible for Tier 1 and Tier 2 approvals.
  • Present all Tier 3, along with high-risk businesses to the Risk Committee for approval daily.
  • Follow-up with merchant/ISO/partners on missing or unclear items until information is received.
  • Assist in management of portfolio monitoring alerts.
  • Initial analysis on financials submitted with merchant application package.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Must have 2-3 year experience as a Credit Analyst I.
  • Must have ability to perform financial analysis.
  • Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel. 
  • Must attend internal trainings on risk management issues and industry related topics as scheduled.
  • Must have commitment to quality and customer service.
  • Must have ability to work effectively under stressful working conditions.
  • Must be able to work well independently or in a team environment.
  • Must have ability to thrive in a fast paced, high energy work environment.
  • Must be able to communicate with internal and external customers in a clear, concise and understandable manner both verbally and in writing.

  • Must have ability to comprehend and analyze complete merchant application packages and make sound decisions on merchant risk.
